Versatile Blogger Award

Hey guys,

I am excited to announce I have also been nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award by the lovely Sima – thank you so much for this! You can check out her blog here. This is pretty exciting, and also my 2nd Award that I have been nominated for recently – the first one was the Liebster award, you can read that post here.

With this award, I have to share 7 interesting things about myself that people may not know and then nominate more bloggers to do this. So, here we go!

1. I broke my arm when I was around 6 years old by falling off my bunk bed..

This always makes me laugh at myself when I think of it as I can remember it so well! I was in the top bunk and I wanted to see what my sister was doing in the bottom bunk, and instead of doing the smart thing, you know, and just going down the ladder, I decided to try and look over.. without bending my knees… and ended up flipping off the bed 😂

2. I have only been abroad twice..

I live in the UK, and have only been abroad twice! I went to Tenerife when I was around 13/14 which was my first time going abroad – I remember being so excited about going on the plane and everything. The 2nd time was 3 years ago when I went to Spain with my boyfriend.

3. If I carried on with gymnastics, I could have been in the 2012 Olympics!

I used to LOVE gymnastics when I was younger, everywhere I went, if it was possible, I’d be cartwheeling all over the place – not even joking – I used to cartwheel all the way down the aisles in B&Q 😂 but yeah, a trainer at a gymnastics club spotted me and asked me to join their club – I went to a taster session, and she was telling my parents how I would be training towards being put forward for the 2012 Olympics – but my life would have to be 100% gymnastics. I wouldn’t have been able to go to friends birthday parties. Gymnastics in the morning before school. Gymnastics after school… Sometimes I do wonder how different my life would have been if I followed that path.

4. I am in a long-distance relationship..

We are more fortunate than some long distance relationships as we live around 2 hrs away from each other by car, which isn’t much compared to some, but it is still tough! Even so, we have been together for almost 4 years now and we are still going strong!

5. If there is something that is super cute/romantic or sad in a film, book or TV show, I am more than likely going to cry over it.. 😂

For example, when I went to the cinema with my sister to see the new Beauty and the Beast, that moment when the beast told Belle to leave and go back home to her father – I couldn’t help but tear up, as well as when she was with him after he got shot.

6. As much of a girly girl as I am, I do also enjoy playing games in my free time..

As much as I love painting my nails, going shopping, doing my hair and make-up – I also enjoy playing some online games in my free time too! While growing up, one of my older brothers used to always get myself and my younger sister to play various online games with him so there’s where it all started.

7. I’ve had quite a few different pets while growing up..

While growing up my family has had quite a few different pets, and they have all been amazing – we’ve had some zebra finch birds, fish, dogs, a cat and some gerbils.

And here are my nominees:

Faye –

I look forward to reading what you guys write about!

Thanks again for the nomination! I hope you all learnt a bit more about me!

The zebra finches I had were so cute – when we bought them, we thought we had 2 of the same sex, turns out we didn’t and they ended up having some babies!
