Let’s talk about why I started my blog…

Hey guys,

I thought I would write a bit more about why I decided to start this blog – as I said in my previous post, I am new to blogging so please bear with me!

After reading so many other wonderful blogs, I had always wanted to start my own but I just didn’t really know where to start.. until my Dad gave me the idea to write about some treatments that I am having, which is hopefully going to improve the appearance of my skin on my face.

While going through my teens, I was one of the ‘unlucky’ ones and had some pretty bad acne – I tried a few different creams and lotions from the Doctors, as well as going on the pill but this didn’t seem to help much for me. This is something so many people go through, and it can affect you in so many ways including how you feel about yourself and your confidence. Sadly, this is what happened to me and as much as I tried to hide it most days, you can’t always – right?! However, I was fortunate enough for my parents to see through this and my dad went out of his way to speak to a few people, and they recommended EF Medispa which is a medical spa and leading skin clinic. You can read more about them here.

After sending a few pictures to show what my skin was like to one of the consultants, Zoe, she was able to recommend treatments that would be able to help improve my skin.

And that is the start of my exciting journey that I am going to share with you… If this all goes well, I have plenty more ideas of what I could write about so I hope you enjoy reading what I have to say, and find it useful!

  1. I hope everything works out for you. Acne can be hard on a persons self-esteem . My son is struggling with the same situation. No creams or washes seem to be helping. I’m hoping once all this money starts rolling in LOL ( I’m a new blogger also) we can get him some treatments. Keep your head up and stay focused on your writing and success is only a hop skip away if we stick with it and don’t give up.

    1. Thank you! You are right, it is pretty tough at times so I know what your son is going through 🙁 one of the main reasons I decided to do this too – hopefully I can help a few people that are in a similar situation.

Thank you, I wish you the best of luck with your blogging too – we can do it!

      1. I loved reading your story! I’m also struggling with acne and I can confirm that no creams or strong face washes or whatsoever stuff you can put on your face seems to be working for me! Also, drinking a lot of water is SOOO important. x

Yeah, it is such a pain at times! Sometimes it seems like everything you do to try and help it, is all wrong, but hey, we’ll get there. My post about how my 1st treatment went is almost ready, so hopefully that will be a good read too. 🙂

Yes, definitely, drinking water is always soo important!

    1. Aw, thank you so much – fingers crossed. It’s been great so far, and everyone has been soo lovely – it’s amazing! Xx
